Carol Adelman Carol Adelman

Carol Adelman is currently the president of the leadership training program Movers and Shakespeares and senior fellow and director of the Hudson Institute’s Center for Global Prosperity, which specializes in international development and public policy, private giving to developing countries, foreign aid, and global health policy. She served at the US Agency for International Development as a presidential appointee heading US foreign aid programs to Asia, the Middle East, and Central and Eastern Europe when the Berlin Wall fell. She is currently vice chairman of the bipartisan Presidential commission Helping to Enhance the Livelihood of People (HELP) Around the Globe, whose mission is to evaluation and reform US foreign aid.
