Elizabeth Drew is an author, a political correspondent, a regular contributor to The New York Review of Books, and a respected observer of the Washington political scene. She was the Washington correspondent of The New Yorker for 19 years. She writes a nationally syndicated column and serves as a frequent TV and newspaper commentator. Her books include Richard M. Nixon, On the Edge: The Clinton Presidency, Citizen McCain, Whatever It Takes: The Real Struggle for Political Power in America, and The Corruption of American Politics: What Went Wrong and Why. She has served as a moderator and panelist for two presidential debates.
