James Hill

James Hill


James O. Hill is Professor of Pediatrics and Director of the Center for Human Nutrition at the University of Colorado Denver.  He holds a Ph.D. from the University of New Hampshire.  He is President of the America Society for Nutrition and Past President of The Obesity Society.  He chaired the first WHO Consultation on Obesity.  He has published more than 350 scientific articles in the area of obesity.  He is the recipient of the 2007 TOPS award from The Obesity Society. Dr. Hill is a cofounder of the National Weight Control Registry and America on the Move, a national “small changes” weight gain prevention initiative.
