He has spent more than three decades working on money and politics issues and is one of the country’s leading proponents of campaign finance reform, serving as a national leader and spokesman on campaign finance, ethics and lobbying reform, and government accountability. He served previously as the president of Common Cause, the nonprofit, nonpartisan citizen's lobbying organization that promotes open, honest, and accountable government. |
