
Paola Antonelli
Paola Antonelli is senior curator in the Department of Architecture and Design at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, where she has worked since 1994. Antonelli recently led the acquisition of the @ sign into MoMA’s collection. She is currently at work on the upcoming exhibit Talk to Me, which delves into the worlds of information and communication design. She oversaw the groundbreaking 2008 exhibition Design and the Elastic Mind, with its corpses that could be turned into batteries and DNA origami. In 2006, she was awarded the Design Mind prize at the National Design Awards. Antonelli is the author or co-author of several books including Humble Masterpieces: Everyday Marvels of Design.
