Schoen is a founding partner and principal strategist of Penn, Schoen, and Berland Associates, Inc., a leading political consulting firm. Over the past 20 years, he and his firm have provided advice to clients including President Clinton; Senators Hillary Clinton, Jon Corzine, John D. Rockefeller IV, and Mark Dayton; Mayor Michael Bloomberg; Prime Ministers Menachem Begin and Yitzhak Rabin of Israel; President Leonel Fernandez of the Dominican Republic; and many other national and international figures. He is the author of several books, including his latest The Power of the Vote: Electing Presidents, Overthrowing Dictators, and Promoting Democracy Around the World (Harper Collins, 2007), and was named Pollster of the Year in 1996 by the American Association of Political Consultants for his work in the Clinton presidential campaign. |
