Jason Clay Jason Clay

is senior vice president of market transformation at the World Wildlife Fund; he also manages the WWF Network’s private-sector advisory board and led the development of WWF’s private-sector engagement strategy. He is a leader in identifying global trends and in supply-chain management. Clay has co-convened multi-stakeholder roundtables to identify and reduce the social and environmental impacts of such products as salmon, soy, sugarcane, and cotton, and he helped draft the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil principles and criteria. Clay is the author of 15 books, including World Aquaculture and the Environment (Island Press, 2009). Clay has run a family farm, taught at Harvard and Yale, worked in the US Department of Agriculture, and spent more than 25 years working with human rights and environmental organizations.
