Susan Rice Susan Rice

is US ambassador to the United Nations as well as foreign policy advisor in the Obama administration. Prior to her current post, she was a foreign policy advisor to Barack Obama’s presidential campaign and a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution. Rice also served as senior advisor for National Security Affairs on the Kerry-Edwards presidential campaign. Previously, Rice was special assistant to the president and senior director for African Affairs under President Clinton. She also served as Clinton’s director of international organizations and peacekeeping for the National Security Council. Formerly, Rice was an international management consultant at McKinsey & Company.
