Rodney Walker Rodney Walker

is the founder of Forever Life Music & Video Productions and a business student at Morehouse College. Walker is 18, from Chicago, and the son of a Vietnam vet and heroin addict. He was put in the foster-care system at age 5 along with ten of his siblings. After years of shuffling from one house to another, at 17, Walker decided to move back in with his parents, who live in Chicago’s worst housing project. This decision led the Department of Child Services to cut his benefits, including academic help. Despite all odds, Walker forged a new future for himself and did not end up in gangs or jail like many of his brothers and sisters. He was taught the necessary skills to start and operate a business. He stayed in school and graduated with honors. This past semester at Morehouse, he made the Dean's list.
