is the managing director and co-founder of Area/Code in New York City. Working with media companies, museums, brands, and foundations, Area/Code focuses on games with computers in them. His work frequently extends game systems into the real world—and the other way around. Slavin is also the president and co-founder of Starling, a social TV co-viewing platform. Currently under development, Starling will debut in September 2010 in collaboration with broadcasters and producers. Prior to founding Area/Code, Slavin was an artist and an advertising executive—never at the same time.
